The service
SNIP.DO removes the background from images you upload and returns the result as a PNG. You don't need an account. We may change, limit or stop the service, or any part of it, at any time. When many people use it at once, requests can be queued or rejected; if that happens, try again a little later.
Your images
You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the results. We don't claim any ownership of them. You allow us to process each image only to remove its background and send the result back to you, as described in our privacy policy.
Only upload images that you own or have permission to use, and make sure that editing and using them doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights, including the privacy of people who appear in them.
Acceptable use
When you use SNIP.DO, you agree not to:
- Upload illegal content, including content that sexually exploits minors, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Use the results to harass, defame, deceive or impersonate anyone.
- Send automated or bulk requests, overload the service, or try to get around its limits.
- Access the processing servers or the API other than through the SNIP.DO website, or build another product or website on top of them, without our written permission.
- Try to break into, disrupt or probe the security of the service.
Results and availability
Background removal is done by an AI model and can make mistakes, such as cutting off part of the subject or leaving part of the background. Check every result before you rely on it.
SNIP.DO is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Raycasters Technologies Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, that come from using or being unable to use SNIP.DO. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under laws that can't be changed by contract.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using SNIP.DO after a change, you accept the updated terms.
